FLCCA Team Headed to the K12 Robotics League Championship
We’re thrilled to share some big news—an FLCCA team has made it to the final round of the K12 Robotics League Championship! CyberCats 2.0 has earned their spot among the top competitors and are heading to K12 Headquarters in Reston, Virginia, to compete in person on June 3, 2025.

Representing FLCCA in the 7–9th grade category is CyberCats 2.0:

How They Got Here
The road to the finals included three virtual rounds: a friendly exhibition round followed by two competitive qualifying rounds. In each round, teams programmed their robots to complete in timed challenges with speed and precision.
CyberCats 2.0 had a great showing with a 5th place finish in the first round with a time of 00:12.413. They followed up with a solid third-place finish in the second round, clocking in with a time of 01:34.384 and earning their place in the final competition.
Up Next: The In-Person Showdown
CyberCats 2.0 will join the top three teams in each grade band, 4–6, 7–9, and 10–12, to compete for the national championship title. In the final in-person round, these finalists will bring their skills to the real world by coding physical robots on a competition mat.
It all comes down to this: one day, one challenge, and one chance to become national champions. Winners in each grade category will receive $500, a K12 Robotics trophy, and the title of national champion.
