If you could write a message in a bottle, what would you write?

At the beginning of the month, our very own Ms. Bowling took a trip to Cumberland Island, Georgia. Can you believe what she found while walking on the beach?! A message in a bottle! Parker, an 8-year-old girl from Mount Pleasant, South Carolina had sent her message out to sea only a month earlier. Ms. Bowling and Parker’s family connected after finding the bottle, leaving Ms. Bowling inspired.

Ms. Bowling used her beach treasure as the inspiration for her third grader’s first writing prompt of the year. So… if you could write a message in a bottle, what would you write?
